Refund Policy

At Sarum Drums, we want every customer to buy with confidence. As we sell through multiple channels, our returns policy depends on where your purchase was made.

Purchases made in-store

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for items purchased in-store simply because you have changed your mind.

If an item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Purchases made through the Sarum Drums website

If you purchase an item directly through our website, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To be eligible for a return, you must notify us within the 14-day cancellation period and return the item within 14 days of informing us. Items should be returned in their original condition, complete with any accessories, manuals and original packaging where reasonably possible.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or supplied in error, customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, any refund due will be processed using the original payment method.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly described items

If an item purchased directly from Sarum Drums is faulty, damaged in transit or significantly different from its description, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where appropriate, we will offer a repair, replacement or refund in line with your statutory rights. We may ask for photographs or further information before arranging a resolution.

Pre-owned equipment

Many of our products are pre-owned and may show signs of cosmetic wear through normal use. We take care to accurately describe and photograph the condition of every item before sale.

Minor cosmetic wear that has been clearly described or shown in product photographs does not constitute a fault or entitle the buyer to a refund.

Repairs and servicing

Repairs, servicing and maintenance work are non-refundable once the work has been completed.

If you believe there is an issue with work we have carried out, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the matter.

Trade-ins

Looking to upgrade your kit? We accept trade-ins on a wide range of drum equipment. Simply bring your gear into the shop or get in touch with details of what you're looking to trade. We'll assess the condition of your equipment and provide a fair, no-obligation valuation, which can be put towards your next purchase at Sarum Drums.

Commission Sales

Let us do the hard work of selling your gear. We offer a commission sales service designed to maximise exposure while taking the hassle out of selling.

We'll begin by providing a professional valuation of your equipment. If you choose to proceed, a non-refundable fee of 10% of the agreed valuation is payable upfront. This covers the cost of professionally displaying your item in our shop, advertising it across our sales platforms, and managing all customer enquiries.

Once your item has sold, Sarum Drums retains a further 10% of the final sale price, with the remaining balance paid directly to you.

Our commission service allows your gear to benefit from both our physical retail presence and our online audience, giving it the best possible chance of finding a great new home.

Purchases through third-party marketplaces

Items purchased through third-party marketplaces, including but not limited to Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, eBay and Reverb, are subject to the terms, buyer protection schemes and dispute procedures of the platform on which the purchase was made.

Any requests relating to returns, refunds or disputes should be made through the relevant marketplace in accordance with that platform's policies. This Refund & Returns Policy applies only to purchases made directly from Sarum Drums, either in-store or through our official website.
